Pass company road expansion to begin next week

The Government of Republika Srpska has funded a road expansion project near Bijeljina to improve access for employees of Pass, a major automotive industry supplier. Construction is scheduled to begin next week.

Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić stated that the company, which currently employs 1,300 people with plans to reach 2,000, is a significant economic contributor to the region's GDP. The project aims to resolve long-standing traffic congestion issues caused by the large number of workers commuting to the facility.

Pass General Director Rado Maletić noted that while the company has previously resolved energy infrastructure issues for its robotic machinery, the road expansion is necessary to manage growth. The company has also made an 11 million KM investment from its own funds.
