Passenger causes flight delay in Beijing by occupying business class seat
A passenger traveling in economy class caused a flight delay at Beijing Capital International Airport after unauthorizedly occupying a business class seat. While the aircraft was taxiing toward the runway, the woman moved to an empty business class seat and refused repeated instructions from cabin crew to return to her assigned area.
The situation escalated when the woman lay down in the business class seat and covered herself with a blanket. Due to the disruption, the aircraft was unable to take off. When police arrived to escort her off the plane, she reportedly resisted by arching her body and shouting, claiming to be a law student at Peking University.
The Capital Airport Bureau confirmed the woman ignored crew instructions to maintain order and safety. The airline subsequently denied her boarding, and police removed her from the aircraft in accordance with relevant regulations.
