Passenger deaths reported on separate flights in Nigeria and Mexico

Two separate incidents involving passenger deaths during flights have been reported in Nigeria and Mexico.

A passenger died aboard a Kenya Airways flight traveling from Nairobi to Lagos. The airline reported that the individual became unresponsive approximately 20 minutes before landing at Murtala Muhammed International Airport. Crew members administered first aid before the aircraft landed, at which point medical personnel confirmed the death. The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority stated that police have taken over the investigation. Preliminary reports suggest the passenger was being returned to Nigeria from Madagascar after being denied entry there.

In Mexico, a 28-year-old woman was found dead in her seat following a four-hour Volaris flight from Tijuana to Chiapas. Fellow travelers noticed she was unresponsive during disembarkation. Preliminary findings suggest the death was linked to a cardiorespiratory arrest, and an autopsy is currently underway.
