Passenger horror film arrives on Paramount+ and announces physical media release

The supernatural horror film ‘Passenger’, directed by André Øvredal, is expanding its availability following a successful global box office run that earned $31.6 million. The film is currently available for streaming on Paramount+ in the United States as of August 20, 2026.

Physical media releases for the movie, including Blu-ray and DVD, are scheduled for September 8, 2026. The film stars Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell, and Academy Award winner Melissa Leo.

The plot follows a young couple on a road trip whose lives are upended after witnessing a fatal car accident, leading to a struggle against a relentless demonic entity.
