Passengers report poor interprovincial transport conditions in Peru

Travelers on interprovincial routes in Peru have reported significant service issues during the All Saints celebrations. Passengers traveling from Lima to Ayacucho expressed indignation over high ticket prices, poor hygiene, and inadequate vehicle conditions.

In one specific incident involving the company Divino Señor, passengers reported an infestation of ticks and other insects on the bus seats. Travelers, who paid between 80 and 120 soles, described the experience as a nightmare after feeling itching during the 12-hour journey. Affected users requested refunds or transfers to different units, but reported receiving unsatisfactory responses from company personnel.

These complaints follow broader dissatisfaction regarding increased fares and the overall quality of transport services between Lima and Ayacucho during the holiday period.
