Passionnément TNN celebrates 10 years of supporting Nice National Theater

The Passionnément TNN endowment fund celebrated its tenth anniversary at the Salle des Franciscains in Nice. Founded in 2016 by Benjamin Mondou, the fund supports the Théâtre National de Nice (TNN) by making culture more accessible to diverse audiences.

The fund’s mission focuses on bringing theatrical performances to locations such as hospitals, retirement homes, schools, and prisons. Currently, the organization supports approximately 307 donors and raises more than 100,000 euros annually. According to Mondou, the initiative facilitates between 40 and 50 performances per year outside the traditional theater walls.

Muriel Mayette-Holtz, director of the TNN, highlighted the importance of the donors, noting that they fund the “invisible” work necessary to make cultural engagement possible. The fund transitioned from an association to an endowment fund to allow broader participation from both professional and private patrons.
