Pasto hosts municipal phase of Juegos Intercolegiados

The municipal phase of the Juegos Intercolegiados in Pasto has concluded with significant results in taekwondo and football.

In the taekwondo competition held at the Obrero neighborhood coliseum, the Club Imperium saw nine of its 12 athletes qualify for the departmental phase. Coach Angela Chamorro noted that the upcoming departmental stage serves as a qualifier for the national phase, where winners will represent the Nariño department.

In football, the Escuela Normal Superior de Pasto secured the male youth championship after defeating IEM Ciudad de Pasto in the final held at the IEM INEM field. Additionally, the same institution won the indoor football (fútbol de salón) title by defeating Colegio Champagnat in a closely contested match.
