Pasto–El Encano road users concerned by graffiti messages

Uncertainty has grown among transporters and residents along the road connecting Pasto to the district of El Encano following the appearance of several painted messages on the asphalt. One recorded message, found on route 1003, reads ‘COMANDOS DE FRONTERA, PRESENTE’ in white paint.

Frequent travelers report that similar inscriptions have appeared in other sectors of the same route throughout the week. While some messages are reportedly being erased, authorities are conducting inspections to determine the origin of the graffiti and whether it indicates a security risk or a connection to armed groups. As of now, the police have not issued an official statement confirming the identity of those responsible or the specific meaning of the messages.
