Pastor David Ibiyeomie condemns internet fraud in Salvation Ministries

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has publicly condemned internet fraud, commonly referred to as ‘Yahoo’, warning congregants against the practice. During a church service, Ibiyeomie stated that internet fraud is theft, regardless of how it is labeled or justified, and noted that some church members are actively involved in these crimes.

Ibiyeomie explicitly rejected offerings from individuals who engage in fraud, instructing them to take their money to other churches. He emphasized that the ministry does not require funds obtained through illegal means.

To illustrate the devastating impact of these crimes, the pastor recounted the story of a university professor and electrical engineer who allegedly lost his entire life savings to internet fraudsters. According to Ibiyeomie, the victim collapsed upon discovering the theft and subsequently died. He urged followers to distance themselves from anyone associated with fraudulent activities.
