Pastor David Ibiyeomie warns against buying Christmas clothes without tithing

David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries, has issued a warning to Christians regarding the importance of paying tithes before spending money on festive items such as Christmas clothing. In a viral video, the cleric stated that neglecting this religious obligation could lead to personal misfortunes that believers often wrongly attribute to the devil.

To illustrate his point, Ibiyeomie shared personal anecdotes involving vehicle malfunctions. He claimed that two tyres on his Rolls-Royce burst while he was being driven by an individual he identified as a non-tither. He also recounted an incident where tyres burst on a passenger vehicle, which he attributed to the driver's failure to fulfill tithing obligations. He urged followers to prioritize tithing and to ensure they pay the specific amount he deems correct rather than contributing arbitrary sums.
