Pastor Eckhart Altemüller retires from Cologne congregation

Pastor Eckhart Altemüller has retired from the Evangelical congregation of Köln-Klettenberg in Cologne after serving on the pastoral team for approximately two years. The 66-year-old former resident of Braunschweig was honored during a special communion service held at the Tersteegenhaus in the Sülz district.

The service, which featured the theme “...forget not what he has done for you,” included various musical contributions from the Johanneskantorei and other musicians. Altemüller, a skilled string and plucked instrument player, previously served in a ministry within the Reformed Church of France in Lille from 2008 to 2015.
