Pastor Jerry Eze leads prayer conference at Old Trafford

Nigerian pastor Jerry Eze led the NSPPD UK Prayer Conference at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium on Saturday. Organized by Streams of Joy International, the event transformed the 74,000-capacity football venue into a space for prayer, worship, and fellowship, attracting worshippers from the United Kingdom and abroad.

Although the event was free, high demand required attendees to register in advance. Reports indicated that interest was so significant that social media users sought available spaces on platforms like TikTok as the event reached capacity.

The conference featured several prominent Nigerian gospel ministers, including Sunmisola Agbebi, Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, and Kaestrings. The gathering took place during a pause in league football for international fixtures, allowing the stadium to host the large-scale religious programme.
