Brazil labor market shows diverse hiring across various sectors

Various sectors in Brazil are reporting significant employment activity. In Curitiba, the city generated a balance of 17,259 formal jobs between January and July, driven largely by the services sector. The unemployment rate in the capital stands at 3.9%.

In the state of Paraná, Agências do Trabalhador have announced 22,246 available vacancies, with the highest demand for production line feeders. Specific cities like Cascavel and the Curitiba Metropolitan Area are leading the regional job offerings.

Corporate hiring is also active: Americanas has opened 769 temporary positions across eight distribution centers to support Black Friday operations, focusing on logistics roles such as operators and assistants. Meanwhile, Santander is recruiting for approximately 230 positions nationwide, specifically targeting client relationship roles in the banking and financial sectors.

Local employment agencies in Mogi Guaçu, São José dos Pinhais, and Bahia continue to list hundreds of diverse roles ranging from construction and logistics to retail and administration.
