Pat Mahomes Sr. seeks court permission to attend Chiefs games while on probation

Pat Mahomes Sr., father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has filed a motion in the 7th District Court in Tyler, Texas, seeking permission to travel for NFL games. If granted, the motion would allow him to attend seven games in Kansas City, Missouri; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mahomes Sr. is currently on probation following a guilty plea to public intoxication in 2024. The proposed travel arrangement would require him to undergo urine testing both before and after each trip. The legal filing notes that he has completed 160 hours of community service and a 16-week outpatient treatment program through the Cenikor Foundation.
