Patagonia launches ‘Out the Back’ surf tour in Ventura

Patagonia has launched its ‘Out the Back’ tour in Ventura, California, hosting a series of events centered on surf culture, community, and big-wave ocean safety. The tour includes film premieres such as ‘STAB x Patagonia’s The Inflation Point’ and ‘Sensing Home.’

Professional big-wave surfers, including Greg Long, Paige Alms, Ramón Navarro, Annie Reickert, Ian Walsh, and Dave Rastovich, are participating in the tour. The events feature discussions on ocean safety and the introduction of Patagonia’s updated gear, specifically the PSI Vest 2.0 and redesigned Regulator wetsuits. The PSI Vest 2.0 is an inflatable safety device designed to help surfers reach the surface after being held down by large waves.

In addition to film screenings, the Ventura events at Patagonia headquarters include workshops, wetsuit repairs, board swaps, and live music.
