Patagonian culture highlighted by new literary releases

New literary works celebrating Patagonian culture and history have been introduced in Argentina.

Gisela Croppi presented ‘La intimidad del infinito. Postales sonoras del sur’ at the 32nd Santa Cruz Provincial Book Fair. Described as a hybrid work of expanded writing, the book integrates written language with music, archives, and Tehuelche voices to create a sensory experience.

Additionally, journalist Cecilia Rayén Guerrero Dewey has completed a decade-long investigation resulting in the biography ‘Berbel, el latido de la Patagonia’. The book chronicles the life and work of Marcelo Berbel, a prominent Patagonian poet, musician, and composer. The biography will be officially launched at the Neuquén International Book Fair on September 16, with subsequent presentations scheduled in Roca, Cipolletti, and Buenos Aires.
