Patatas Bonilla evolves from Galician tradition to international luxury icon

Patatas Bonilla a la Vista, a traditional potato chip brand manufactured in Arteixo, Galicia, has achieved significant international recognition through high-profile media appearances and celebrity endorsements.

The brand gained global visibility when its products appeared in the Oscar-winning film ‘Parasite’ by Bong Joon-ho. Other notable exposures include a 2014 campaign for the French luxury brand Balmain and appearances by K-pop stars such as members of Stray Kids, TXT, and BTS’s J-Hope.

In Hollywood, the brand has been featured in social media posts by actor Chris Hemsworth and was included in luxury gift bags and appetizers at a private DPA event prior to the 2025 Oscars. Additionally, the brand saw a major commercial impact after being featured by American presenter Oprah Winfrey in November 2024.
