Paterna: Four family clan members arrested for La Coma shooting

The Spanish National Police have arrested four members of a single family clan in Paterna, Valencia, following a violent shooting in the La Coma neighborhood. The suspects, consisting of three men and one woman, face charges of illegal weapons possession and threats.

The incident occurred on the night of March 16, when residents reported multiple gunshots in public areas. Investigators found that the attackers targeted a residence where a woman was known to be present, using a long-range rifle, shotguns, and a revolver. Police recovered at least 14 to 15 shell casings at the scene, including Remington 222 caliber ammunition, and identified a bullet impact on a nearby door likely caused by a 12-gauge shotgun.

Following the attack, the suspects fled in a van and attempted to hide their arsenal in a nearby parked vehicle. While no injuries were reported during the initial March confrontation, the use of military-style ammunition and the direct targeting of a home prompted a significant police response.
