Paterna: Worker dies after falling from industrial roof

A worker died on Friday after falling approximately ten meters from the roof of an industrial warehouse in the Fuente del Jarro industrial estate in Paterna, Valencia.

The accident occurred around 12:15 PM. Emergency services, including SAMU units, arrived at the scene and performed resuscitation efforts. The individual was transported to the General Hospital of Valencia, where death was confirmed at 3:00 PM.

According to initial reports from the National Police, the worker was not wearing protective equipment at the time of the fall. Although colleagues stated that the necessary safety means were available for the high-altitude tasks, the victim was reportedly not utilizing them during the incident.

The Judicial Police, Scientific Police, and Labor Inspection are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
