Pathé records highest monthly visitor numbers in the Netherlands

Pathé reported its best month ever in August, recording 1.75 million visitors in the Netherlands. This figure surpasses the previous record set in August 2019 by 7 percent.

The surge in attendance is attributed to the popularity of films such as Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ and ‘Spider-Man: A Brand New Day’. Pathé also noted that high temperatures during the summer drove more people to cinemas to seek relief from the heat.

The cinema chain anticipates a successful year ahead, bolstered by upcoming releases including ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping’, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, ‘Dune: Part Three’, and ‘Jumanji 3’.
