Pathos AI raises $237 million to advance oncology drug pipeline

Pathos AI has secured $237 million in Series E financing, reaching a post-money valuation of approximately $3 billion. The funding round was led by Bristol Myers Squibb, with participation from existing investors including AstraZeneca, NEA, and General Atlantic.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its proprietary AI platform, Foundry, and accelerate its clinical-stage oncology programs. A primary focus will be advancing JSKN016, a first-in-class TROP2/HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate, toward registrational studies. Other development priorities include pocenbrodib for prostate cancer and multiple myeloma, AZD4241, and the MET kinase inhibitor DO-2.

Foundry utilizes thousands of specialized AI agents to analyze approximately 200 petabytes of oncological data, including genomics and clinical information. The platform is designed to identify biological subpopulations most likely to respond to specific therapies, guide clinical trial adjustments, and improve the overall probability of success in drug development.
