Patience and mental health awareness in a fast-paced world

In an era defined by immediacy and constant digital stimulation, the value of patience and mental well-being is gaining attention. Artisanal food production serves as a practical example of the 'art of waiting.' Products such as sourdough bread, which requires long fermentation processes, collagen broth simmered for three days, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese that matures for at least 12 months, highlight the necessity of time and meticulous care in quality production.

Parallel to the physical need for slowing down is the growing importance of mental health. On World Mental Health Day, established by the World Federation for Mental Health, experts emphasize that psychological struggles affect people of all ages and locations, including smaller towns where stigma remains a barrier to seeking help. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one in eight people globally lives with mental disorders, underscoring the deep connection between mental and physical health.
