José Roberto Arruda formalizes 'Resgatar Brasília' coalition

The political coalition "Resgatar Brasília," composed of the PSD and Avante parties, has been officially formalized to support the candidacy of José Roberto Arruda for the governorship of the Federal District.

Despite internal tensions regarding the selection of the vice-gubernatorial candidate, Gim Argello, president of Avante in the Federal District, maintained the party's commitment to the alliance. The friction arose after Luiz Pitiman was chosen for the vice position, a move that Jorginho Argello described as a "betrayal" because the role was previously expected to be filled by a representative from Avante.

While the majoritarian coalition remains intact to support Arruda, Jorginho Argello stated that while Avante will maintain the partnership due to his father's leadership, individual candidates for deputy are free to support other candidates for the GDF, including Leandro Grass.
