Patient reports severe health complications following breast augmentation

A woman from Mulhouse, France, has shared her experience of severe health complications following a breast augmentation procedure performed in 2021. After the surgery, she experienced a progressive series of medical issues, including ear infections, swelling, repeated vaginal infections, digestive troubles, rosacea, and facial and body inflammation.

As her condition worsened, she developed edema in her lower limbs and pubic area, ovarian inflammation, myalgia, cognitive difficulties, and extreme fatigue. Despite undergoing numerous medical consultations, blood tests, and imaging, she faced a period of medical uncertainty before linking her symptoms to the surgical implants after noticing skin eruptions and changes in the shape of her breasts.
