Patisserie Fruits expands popular fruit mousse cake brand in Seoul

South Korean dessert brand Patisserie Fruits, led by chef Im Ha‑seon, has sparked a social‑media craze with its fruit‑shaped mousse cakes. The shop in Gangnam, Seoul, sees constant queues even on weekdays, and a pop‑up opened at 29CM Iguhom Seongsu in late April.

The brand emphasizes quality, sourcing premium butter, cream and chocolate, and testing each new product for three months to a year before launch. Production is manual, yielding at least 500 cakes daily. New items such as a peach melba are being added, and the menu will soon include fruit tarts and nut‑based desserts. Im Ha‑seon, trained in France, aims to become the leading name for fruit desserts and is planning overseas expansion, with the United States identified as the first target market.
