President Erdoğan addresses TÜGVA Yaz Okulları Final at Istanbul's RAMS Park
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the TÜGVA (Turkey Youth Foundation) Yaz Okulları Final program held at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex (RAMS Park) in Istanbul. The ceremony gathered tens of thousands of students, families and guests, with the stadium filled by a colourful crowd and a large choreography featuring historical figures such as Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Yavuz Sultan Selim and Sultan II Abdülhamid.
Erdoğan praised the participating youth as the architects of the “Turkey Century”, highlighted the achievements of the Teknofest generation and pledged that the state will work to ensure the best possible upbringing for the nation’s future. He also expressed solidarity with Gaza, Syria and Lebanon, saying “our brothers’ hearts beat together with theirs.”
The TÜGVA programme reported record participation: more than 700 000 middle‑school students took part nationwide, and the foundation reached over 1.5 million young people in 2026. Performances by artists such as Maher Zain, Arslanbek Sultanbekov, Fadıl Aydın and Celal Karatüre complemented the speeches.
