Pato Futsal and ACBF lead Group A in Taça Brasil

Pato Futsal and ACBF have emerged as joint leaders of Group A in the 53rd Taça Brasil de Clubes following their respective results in the opening rounds.

In the tournament's debut match, ACBF and Pato Futsal played to a 2-2 draw in São João do Jaguaribe. ACBF initially took the lead through Otanha and later Vilela, but Pato Futsal equalized via Pedro Carioca and Max. ACBF goalkeeper Ângelo was named player of the match for his performance.

In the second round, Pato Futsal secured a 2-0 victory over the host team, São João do Jaguaribe, with goals from Darlan and Max. This win brought Pato Futsal to four points, matching ACBF, who also reached four points after a dominant 11-0 victory over IAPE Futsal. The winner of the competition will earn a direct spot in the 2027 Supercopa do Brasil.
