Patos de Minas Rural Producers Union begins new term

The Rural Producers Union of Patos de Minas has celebrated its 81st anniversary, marking the start of a new management term. The institution held a celebration with local authorities and agricultural representatives to commemorate its history.

The new administration, led by President Juninho, intends to shift focus toward direct support for rural producers. Following a previous term dedicated to revitalizing the Patos de Minas Exhibition Park, the upcoming mandate will prioritize seeking resources, improvements, and new opportunities for farmers. A key upcoming initiative is the inauguration of the ‘Casa Juntos pelo Agro’ on October 23, a space designed to provide training, services, and information through partnerships with Faemg Senar, the Union, and Sebrae. The leadership also noted the economic challenges facing the sector, including production costs and international market volatility.
