Patosfera contemporary dance production begins Romanian tour
The contemporary dance and performance production ‘Patosfera’ is embarking on a tour across five Romanian cities this autumn, including Bucharest, Craiova, Sfântu Gheorghe, Bistrița, and Arad.
Choreographed by Mădălina Dan and produced by the National Dance Center Bucharest, the show integrates movement, sound, text, and imagery. The performance draws from diverse influences such as cosmology, trap music, urban space, and technology to explore themes of ecological thinking and human interdependence.
The production features five performers—Georgeta Corca, Mariana Gavriciuc, Cristian Nanculescu, Virginia Negru, and George Pleșa—with music by Denis Bolborea. Scheduled performances include September 7 in Bucharest at the National Dance Center and September 9 in Craiova at the Marin Sorescu National Theatre.
