Patra: Man arrested for impersonating officer and stealing phone

A 55-year-old man was arrested in the Tsoukaleika area of Patra, Greece, after allegedly impersonating a police officer to steal a woman's mobile phone. The incident occurred when the victim disembarked from a local bus at a stop in the area.

Following the victim's report, police launched a search that led them to a local church. The suspect had entered the building during a wedding ceremony in an attempt to evade capture. Authorities successfully located and arrested the man inside the church, and the stolen mobile phone was recovered from his possession.
