Patra property donation discussed by Nikos Dendias and Christina Alexopoulou

Christina Alexopoulou, former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, met with Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias to discuss the utilization of a property in Patra. The building, located at 70 Agiou Nikolaou Street, was donated to the Ministry of National Defense by the late benefactor Iakovos Tsounis.

Following the completion of the inheritance acceptance process, Alexopoulou proposed that part of the property be allocated to social organizations, specifically blood donor associations, to provide them with functional spaces. Due to its central location in Patra, she also suggested exploring potential urban development options in accordance with existing zoning regulations.

Iakovos Tsounis, who passed away in 2021, bequeathed three properties to the Greek State for the Ministry of National Defense, located in Patra, Athens, and Nea Makri.
