Patras implements central road closures for urban development

Significant traffic changes are coming to central Patras starting Monday, August 24, due to ongoing urban development projects in the Lower Town. The intersection of Karaiskaki and Pantanassi streets will close to all vehicles, with traffic being diverted to Corinthos Street.

Further disruptions are scheduled for August 31, when the intersection of Karaiskaki and Gerokostopoulou will also close. Additionally, road reconstruction work on Ermou Street, between Agiou Andreou and Riga Feraiou, is already underway and has impacted local bus routes, specifically lines No. 6 and No. 8. These works are part of a larger project for the integrated urban development of the historic center.
