Patras International Festival to host ‘Pollyanna – The Game of Joy’

The Patras International Festival will host the production ‘Pollyanna – The Game of Joy’ on Friday, September 4, at 9:00 PM. The performance will take place at the Summer Municipal Theater on Ritsou Street.

Based on the novella by Eleanor Porter, the play follows twelve-year-old Pollyanna, who maintains optimism and spreads hope to those around her despite facing difficulties after being raised by her aunt following her parents' death. The musical score features American influences, including rock and roll, blues, country, foxtrot, and gospel.

The production is written and directed by Carmen Rougerie and Christina Kouloubi. The cast includes Anastasia Anagnostopoulou, Kostas Zografopoulos, Thanasis Korlos, Nikos Kyrtsos, Konstantina Linardatou, Elena Michalaki, Haris Papadopoulos, and Ino Pikioni.
