Patras: Search continues for missing 81-year-old woman

Search operations continue in Patras for 81-year-old Georgia Kripa, who has been missing for seven days. She disappeared on the morning of August 20 while at a local market in the Agia Sofia area with her family.

Ms. Kripa suffers from dementia, and a Silver Alert has been issued. She is described as having grey hair, brown eyes, and a height of 1.62 meters. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black short-sleeved blouse, a black skirt, black boots, and black socks.

Authorities, the Red Cross, and volunteers have conducted extensive searches using drones, covering urban areas, the Meilichos River, the port, and the waterfront. Despite numerous reports from citizens regarding similar-looking women, no definitive leads have been found, and no calls providing specific information have been received by the SOS 1065 emergency line.
