Patras to host 14th Pink the City breast cancer awareness event

The Alma Zois Association of Achaia is organizing the 14th annual ‘Pink the City 2026’ event in Patras, Greece, scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026. The initiative aims to promote breast cancer prevention, early diagnosis, and social solidarity.

The event features a large-scale pink walk starting from the intersection of Meizonos and Ermou and concluding at Meizonos and Agiou Nikolaou. Participants will engage in activities including music, dance, and a ‘Pink Village’ with various information booths and creative workshops.

Proceeds and participation support psychosocial programs for women with breast cancer, awareness campaigns for regular screenings, and funding for free clinical breast examinations for the local population. The event is hosted by notable figures including Christina Lampiri and Stefanos Konstantinidis.
