Patras to host 31st WHO Regions for Health Network annual meeting

Anna Mastorakou, Deputy Regional Governor for Public Health of the Western Greece Region, held a working meeting with representatives of the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities (ESAMEA) to prepare for the upcoming 31st Annual Meeting of the WHO Regions for Health Network (RHN).

The meeting, which will be hosted in Patras this November, focused on promoting equal access to healthcare services and ensuring citizens' participation in decision-making processes. Discussions included documenting patient needs to design effective interventions and the importance of empowering citizens to utilize digital health tools and new technologies.

Participants emphasized that World Health Organization strategies achieve maximum impact when harmonized with the real-world needs of individuals facing the challenges of disability and disease.
