Patras to host 5th F. Tsimgatos Night Half Marathon in 2026

The 5th F. Tsimgatos Night Half Marathon is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Patras. Organized by the Municipality of Patras in collaboration with the Patras Kouros Athletic Club, the event is dedicated to the memory of the renowned Patras marathon runner and Panachaiki champion, F. Tsimgatos.

The race route is described as flat, safe, and paved, consisting of two laps. It is a measured course certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). Performances in both the 21,097-meter half marathon and the 5,000-meter race will be recognized by SEGAS.

Starting and ending at Georgiou Square, the route takes runners along the coastal front, passing through various streets including Korinthou, Agiou Nikolaou, and Iroon Polytechneiou. The course offers views of the sea, neoclassical architecture, and the Rio-Antirrio Bridge.
