Patras to host production of Alexandros Papadiamantis’s ‘The Murderess’

The Aichmi Greek Theatre Organization will present ‘The Murderess’, a seminal work of Neo-Hellenic literature by Alexandros Papadiamantis. The production is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 21:00 at the Mechanourgeion theater in Patras.

Directed by Giannis Nikolaidis, the play stars Foteini Filosofou. The performance explores themes of social injustice and the struggle for redemption through the lens of Papadiamantis’s iconic heroine. The event is organized by the Region of Western Greece and offers free admission.
