Patras‑Cholargos and Volos municipal councils schedule June accountability meetings

The municipal council of Patras‑Cholargos will hold a special accountability session for May and June at 17:30, followed by the regular meeting for the current month at 19:00 on Tuesday 23 June. The council will livestream the meetings and has asked officials for detailed information on the inventory and condition of existing pedestrian crossings, the schedule for maintenance and repainting of road signage, actions taken in the past year, budget allocations, and plans for new crossings. It also seeks clarification on the outcomes of the public consultation for the Cyprus Square redevelopment—such as tree planting, safety measures, lighting, and accessibility for children with disabilities—as well as the results of the consultation on a controlled parking system.

The municipal council of Volos will convene on Monday 29 June 2026 at 12:30 at City Hall for a special session reviewing the authority’s accountability for the third bimonthly period of 2026 (May–June). The meeting will be held in person and follows the legal framework of law 3852/2010 as amended and internal council regulations. Council members may submit agenda items in writing by 25 June, with submissions to be sent electronically to the council’s secretariat.
