Patria expands assets to US$ 62 billion with focus on infrastructure

Patria, a major asset management firm, has expanded its assets under management from US$ 40 billion to US$ 62 billion since 2024. The firm has set a target to reach US$ 70 billion by 2027.

Co-founder and CEO Alexandre Saigh is leading an internationalization strategy, managing operations through offices in London and Edinburgh. Saigh noted that international institutional investors, such as those from Europe and the Middle East, are looking to diversify into Latin American long-term projects, provided there is regulatory stability. This contrasts with Brazilian investors, who often prioritize liquidity and high returns to compete with high interest rates.

The firm focuses on the real economy, directing capital toward infrastructure and strategic sectors such as energy transmission, sanitation, logistics, and data centers to drive national development.
