Patriarch Ilia II emphasizes importance of prayer for success

Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia delivered a sermon at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, emphasizing the importance of divine blessing and prayer as prerequisites for success in human endeavors.

During his address, the Patriarch noted that many people fail to achieve their goals despite long-term effort because they rely solely on their own intellect and energy. He suggested that true success comes when individuals entrust their actions to God and seek divine blessing.

Drawing from the biblical account of the miraculous catch of fish by the apostles Peter, James, and John, the Patriarch illustrated how divine intervention can lead to abundance where human effort alone may fall short. He encouraged the faithful to live a God-fearing life and to seek prayerful guidance for every undertaking.
