Patricia Appiagyei engages Asokwa security agencies
Patricia Appiagyei, the Member of Parliament for Asokwa and Deputy Minority Leader, conducted a working visit to various security agencies within her constituency on August 20, 2026. The tour was part of her parliamentary oversight responsibilities, aimed at strengthening collaboration, discussing security issues, and identifying operational challenges.
During the visit, Appiagyei inspected the Dompoase Police Station, where construction is approximately 90% complete. At the Ashanti Regional Fire Service, she pledged support for the establishment of a new district office and the service’s regimental band. At the Asokwa Police Station, she emphasized the importance of professionalism and urged officers to adopt a humane approach when performing their duties.
Additionally, Appiagyei engaged with the Electoral Commission, encouraging continued efforts to ensure free, fair, and credible elections. She expressed her commitment to addressing logistical needs for security agencies to maintain peace and order in the constituency.
