Bruel is under investigation for multiple sexual‑offence allegations, including rape, attempted rape, sexual assault and harassment spanning incidents from 2000 to 2019 across several French cities and abroad. Some cases have been dismissed as prescribed, while others are proceeding, with Bruel also acting as an assisted witness in four dossiers.
