Patrick Clark involved in chaotic boxing press conference

Patrick Clark, the former WWE wrestler known as Velveteen Dream, was involved in a chaotic altercation during a press conference for his upcoming boxing debut. The event, held ahead of the Duel Arena 1 pay-per-view in Orlando, Florida, turned tense after social media personality Ryan Pownall insulted Clark, claiming his career had declined from wrestling in historic arenas to competing in “food courts at the mall.”

Following the insult, Clark attempted to confront Pownall and briefly grabbed a metal pole before security intervened and removed him from the venue. Pownall, whom Duel Arena has branded the “CEO of ragebait,” proceeded with a solo promotional face-off.

The boxing match between Clark and Pownall is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at the Kia Center. The event's original headliner, Mike Perry vs. Dillon Danis, was altered after Danis withdrew from the card; Brandon Jenkins will now face Perry as a last-minute replacement.
