Patrick McGoldrick sells Rs 165 crore in Tata Technologies shares

Patrick Raymon McGoldrick, the former CEO and Managing Director of Tata Technologies, has sold shares worth approximately Rs 165 crore through block deals on the BSE. The transaction involved the sale of 2.1 million shares, representing a 0.51 per cent stake, executed in four tranches at an average price of Rs 785 per share.

Following the sale, McGoldrick’s holding in the Pune-headquartered firm decreased from 1.13 per cent to 0.62 per cent. The shares were acquired by several institutional investors, including ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, 360 One Asset Management, and Carnelian Asset Management & Advisors.

McGoldrick retired from his leadership role at Tata Technologies in September 2014 after a 20-year tenure. The share sale occurs amid recent financial reports from the company, which noted an 11.5 per cent sequential decline in consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY27, standing at Rs 181 crore compared to Rs 204 crore in the previous quarter.
