Patrick Mouratoglou to join Stefanos Tsitsipas for US Open

Renowned French tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou is joining Stefanos Tsitsipas’s team for the US Open in New York. Mouratoglou, known for his work with Serena Williams, will work alongside Tsitsipas’s current coach, Thomas Perrin, on a daily basis during the tournament.

The partnership marks a reunion for the two, as Tsitsipas trained at the Mouratoglou Academy during his junior years. The move comes at a critical juncture for the Greek player, who is currently ranked No. 53 following a period of inconsistent results and physical challenges.

This coaching shift follows the end of Tsitsipas’s professional relationship with his father, Apostolos, in June. Tsitsipas has recently shown signs of recovery, including a victory at the Swiss Open in Gstaad in July, which helped him climb back up the ATP rankings.
