Patrick Overmyer added to Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Houston Cougars tight end Patrick Overmyer has been named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. The award recognizes the nation's top receiver across all positions, including wide receivers, tight ends, running backs, and fullbacks.

Overmyer has recorded 39 receptions for 432 yards and seven touchdowns this season. His performance includes a notable game against Kansas State where he tied the NCAA record for receiving touchdowns by a tight end by catching four scores in a single game. He is currently one of only six tight ends included on the 70-player watchlist.

Overmyer joins two other Houston players, wide receivers Amare Thomas and Trent Walker, who were named to the list during the preseason.
