Patrick Sébastien criticizes La France insoumise and supports David Lisnard

French media personality Patrick Sébastien has issued sharp criticisms against the political movement La France insoumise (LFI). During a broadcast on RMC, Sébastien applied a definition of fascism to the group, describing their behavior as authoritarian and arbitrary. He previously noted that while he distinguishes between the far-left and far-right, he believes “real fascists” exist within both LFI and the Rassemblement National.

Sébastien also expressed his political preferences regarding the 2027 presidential election. He stated that if he were to vote today, he would support David Lisnard, the mayor of Cannes, citing his “authoritarian and humanist” discourse. Sébastien noted that his preference for Lisnard stems from personal meetings rather than polling trends. Through his movement, “Ça suffit !”, Sébastien has been collecting public opinions to provide a voice to citizens who feel unheard by the current political establishment.
