Patrik Boldvin discusses debut and adaptation at Crvena zvezda

Patrik Boldvin has begun his debut season with Crvena zvezda, showcasing his offensive potential during his initial appearances on European soil. In a recent match against Olimpia Milano, the 23-year-old was the team's second-highest scorer with 13 points, though he had a less impactful performance in a subsequent game against Olympiacos.

Boldvin noted that transitioning from the United States to Europe involves a significant adjustment period due to the high volume of tactical information, defensive rotations, and the distinct playing style characteristic of the EuroLeague. He emphasized that while he is still adapting to his first year playing abroad, he feels the team is progressing.

To assist with the transition, Boldvin highlighted the support of teammate Jared Butler and other players with American experience, such as Jordan, Horton Tucker, and Vejdan Boldvin. He stated that having teammates to connect with outside of the court has been vital to feeling comfortable in a new city and a different basketball environment.
