Patrik Farkas signs professional contract with Liverpool FC

Hungarian youth international Patrik Farkas has signed a professional contract with Liverpool FC. The 19-year-old midfielder returns to the Liverpool Academy after spending the last four years at Blackburn Rovers.

Farkas, who describes his playing style as a technical box-to-box midfielder capable of playing multiple positions, expressed his excitement about the move, stating, “It is a dream come true that I signed here, I am very happy, and I can hardly wait to get started.”

The player is not the only member of his family at the club; his younger brother, Erik, is currently part of Liverpool’s U18 squad. The signing also expands the presence of Hungarian players at the club, joining senior players Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez, as well as Ármin Pécsi, who is currently on loan at Hartberg.
